Fast fix for Windows icon problems

If the icons on your desktop or in Windows Explorer become corrupt, or the wrong icons are displayed for a particular program, it is highly likely that your icon cache database has become corrupt. Fortunately this is easy to fix: simply deleting the database will cause Windows to generate a new, uncorrupt copy. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder: C:/Documents and Settings//Local Settings/Application Data where is your Windows user name.
2. Right-click on the file IconCache.db and click Delete.
3. Re-boot your PC to rebuild the icon cache.
